Are you a smart, competent, and hands-on Couple looking for your next opportunity? Split Rock Properties is currently seeking an experienced Resident Manager Team (Apartment Building Live-In Superintendent) to join our growing team.
Position: Resident Managers(Live-In)
Location: Multiple properties across HRM and surrounding areas
Compensation: Competitive rent discount or fully covered unit, plus additional compensation based on duties and experience
What You’ll Do:
As a Resident Manager, you will live onsite and be the primary point of contact for residents and maintenance needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily building checks and general upkeep
- Coordinating and performing minor maintenance and repairs
- Responding promptly to tenant concerns and emergencies
- Overseeing cleanliness and order in common areas
- Managing unit turnovers and showing available units
- Working closely with Split Rock’s property management team
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Resident Manager TEAM, Live-In Superintendent, or equivalent is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic handyman or maintenance knowledge
- Ability to handle issues professionally and efficiently
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude and a customer-service mindset
- Must be comfortable living onsite and being available for after-hours emergencies
